Miami Church Covers 100% of Uber Rides to Easter Service-Tips Included
Reality Church's "Uber to Church" campaign targets students and residents near UM with free roundtrip rides on Easter Sunday
MIAMI, FLORIDA / ACCESS Newswire / April 2, 2025 / In a bold move to connect with the next generation, Reality Church Miami is offering completely free Uber rides-including tips-for college students and local residents to attend their Easter service on Sunday, April 20.

The campaign, called Uber to Church (www.ubertochurch.com), allows anyone within a 5-mile radius of the University of Miami's Coral Gables campus to claim a free Uber voucher to and from the church.
"Some people may think we're crazy for doing this," said Pastor Carlos Lollett of Reality Church. "But we believe it's a small price to pay to reach students who might be struggling with loneliness or just need a place to feel seen. And we've got an entire community of generous members backing us up."
Originally designed for students, the church expanded the campaign due to overwhelming interest. Now non-students, family, and friends can also participate, as long as they live within the designated zone.
How It Works
1. Visit ubertochurch.com
2. Claim a voucher-no email or student ID required
3. Use the Uber app on Easter Sunday to schedule your free ride.
Why It Matters
Many college students report feeling isolated, especially during exam season. The church hopes this simple gesture removes a key barrier-transportation-and encourages students to explore faith in a welcoming, safe environment.
"This isn't about church attendance stats," Pastor Carlos added. "It's about showing up for a generation that often feels overlooked-and doing it in a way that's practical and real."
